Friday Numbers ("we," "us," or "our") operates the FridayNumbers.com website and service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our weekly team accountability tracking platform.
By accessing or using Friday Numbers, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this policy, please do not use the service.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. Passwords are cryptographically hashed before storage and are never stored in plain text. If you sign up using Google SSO, we receive your name and email from Google but never your Google password.
Organization Information. If you create or join an organization, we collect the organization name, subdomain, and team member roles (owner, coordinator, or agent).
Check-In Data. We collect your weekly check-in responses, scores, streaks, and any coaching notes or custom question responses associated with your account.
Usage Data. We automatically collect certain information when you visit or use the service, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits. This data is collected through Google Analytics (GA4).
Cookies. We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous usage statistics. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Friday Numbers service
- Process your weekly check-in submissions and calculate scores
- Display dashboards, reports, leaderboards, and trend data to you and your team
- Authenticate your identity and manage your account
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, check-in reminders)
- Respond to your support inquiries
- Analyze usage patterns to improve the service
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
We do not use your check-in data to train machine learning models, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data with third parties only in the following limited circumstances:
- Stripe — We use Stripe to process payments. When you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment information (credit card number, billing address) is sent directly to Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
- Google Analytics (GA4) — We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with our service. Google Analytics collects anonymous usage data using cookies. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Hosting Infrastructure — Our service is hosted on Railway, a US-based cloud platform. Your data is stored on servers located in the United States.
We may also disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Friday Numbers, our users, or the public.
4. Third-Party Integrations
Friday Numbers offers optional integrations with third-party services. These integrations are only activated when you explicitly connect them:
- Slack — If you connect Slack, we may send check-in reminders and score notifications to your designated Slack channel. We access only the permissions you grant and do not read your Slack messages.
- Google SSO — If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google to create or link your account. We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, or other Google services.
You can disconnect these integrations at any time from your account settings.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information and check-in data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or compliance purposes.
Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement purposes.
6. Security Measures
We take the security of your data seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect it, including:
- All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
- Passwords are hashed using strong, one-way cryptographic algorithms before storage
- Database access is restricted and protected by authentication credentials
- Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers
- We regularly review our security practices and update them as needed
While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction — Request correction of any inaccurate personal information
- Deletion — Request deletion of your account and associated personal data
- Export — Export your check-in data in CSV format from your account settings
- Opt-out — Opt out of non-essential cookies and analytics tracking
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected].

When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending you an email notification.
